ElectriCity wins European sustainability award

ElectriCity has received the European Solar Prize 2015 in the Transport and Mobility category. The jury praised ElectriCity for its "exemplary supply of public transport with renewable energy as part of a cooperation between city and science".

The award was given to representatives of Gothenburg Municipality and Göteborg Energi at a ceremony in Prague on November 23. 

The European Solar Prize 2105 is awarded by the European Association for Renewable Energy, EUROSOLAR, to projects that make significant progress in raising public awareness of one of the most important challenges of our time: the transition to a sustainable energy usage.
