Here’s where you can take the electric bus

The map shows route 55.

Route 55. Electric buses run in regular operations on route 55 between                 Chalmers/Johanneberg Science Park and Lindholmen Science Park, via Avenyn,              Brunnsparken and Götaälvbron. At Teknikgatan, Lindholmen you can take the     electric bus from Gothenburg’s first indoor bus stop. The electric buses run   quietly and free from exhaust gases, powered by 100 % renewable electricity. Route 55 is part of Västtrafik’s regular service and it operates with the same ticketing system as the rest of the city’s public transport network. The timetable can be found on the Västtrafik website

Route EL16. In connection with the Volvo Ocean Race on June 14–21, electric articulated buses will also operate between Nordstan and Frihamnen. As of June 25 they will run as part of a test project on part of route 16 (EL16). In the mornings and evenings they will operate between Eriksbergstorget and Nordstan. During the day they will also operate between Eriksbergstorget and Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Västtrafik’s regular tickets apply on the electric articulated buses, but since these vehicles are prototypes they will run outside the regular timetable.
